Salley Community Update, May 2023

Hi friends,

Can’t believe that we’re already wrapping up the month of May. It’s been an exciting month so far full of new updates. As you may already know, we’re building Salley to help you master AI-proof skills, like building a strong online presence. This way, you’ll have plenty of career opportunities as AI changes the way we work. Now, let’s get into the updates!

Upcoming mixer and Fireside chat with Andrew Yeung (June 1)

On June 1st, we’re hosting a fireside chat with the one and only Andrew Yeung. Andrew is the mastermind behind some of NYC's most epic tech parties, and he's built a following of almost 40,000 people across Twitter and Linkedin in the process.

Two years ago, Andrew arrived in the Big Apple without knowing a soul, in the midst of a global pandemic. But he refused to let isolation hold him back. Instead, he turned to hosting dinners to bring strangers together, and what started as small gatherings quickly evolved into massive events with over 2,000 attendees!

Now, Andrew is ready to share his secrets with you. His events have been attended by some of the world's most brilliant and accomplished individuals, from C-suite executives to Olympic athletes, media personalities, and renowned entrepreneurs. They've taught Andrew a few things about life and business, and he's excited to share their insights and stories with you!

Join us in person in New York for an unforgettable evening as Andrew shares his hard learned lessons growing his online presence and hosting 100+ events for 10,000+ people in New York, Austin, San Francisco, Toronto, and Miami.

We hosted a Fireside chat with Chris Hladczuk (Highlights)

In the span of two years, Chris Hladczuk has gone from a Yale student to a Goldman Sachs Analyst and finally, a critical team member at Meow - a buzzy fintech startup with $1 billion assets under management.

Concurrently, Chris has built a Twitter audience of 200K+ people, and his followers include some of the most sought-after people in tech, such as Packy McCormick (Not Boring) and Keith Rabois (Founders Fund).

Here are some pictures from the event. It was truly spectacular!
